Purple Day is Coming

Yes, I know there are lots of colors being bandied about to support popular causes.... but purple is a color dear to my heart.... as it signifies Epilepsy Awareness.

Purple Day was conceived by a young girl, Cassidy Megan, in Nova Scotia, Canada.    She chose the name Purple Day because lavender is the international color for epilepsy. The lavender flower is associated with solitude, which is representative of the feelings of isolation many people affected by epilepsy often feel.    Purple Day is celebrated worldwide to raise global epilepsy awareness and to show those with epilepsy they are not alone.

Support epilepsy awareness by wearing purple on March 26th!
